Really pleased with the work from Niall. He came out to sort a leak from our shower, fitted a new trap and replaced the missing grout around the tiles. Niall came out to fix a broken pump that my previous plumber had "repaired" four times, only to discover the wrong pump had been installed for my system. Niall arrived just in time, as the connector on the old pump had already failed within three weeks of been fitted and would have caused water damage. When water starts seeping out from under the cupboards in the kitchen you need help urgently. We were able to turn the mains water off and then googled for a plumber. Spoke to Niall on the phone, sent pictures of affected area and received quote the same evening. He was able to come the following day, discovered the leaking pipe behind the dishwasher , removed a section of the pipe and welded a new section in place. Replaced everything and cleaned up well taking rubbish away. Will use again and would recommend.

My parents’ old gas boiler chose to pack up during a cold Saturday afternoon in December so we called Nialls plumbing and heating based on the reviews. Nialls was there that evening after a full day of work and diagnosed the problem after extensive investigations in attics and eves. The whole system needed replacing. He sent us a detailed quote on Sunday morning (!) which included every aspect of the removal of the old boiler, decommissioning of corroded open feed tanks, draining, installation of a new Bosch boiler with a 12 year warranty, cleanup, and instructions on how to operate the new closed system. The quote was reasonable and he was able to source parts and schedule us for the following Wednesday at 8am. He reused old parts where safe, and came in exactly on quote. Finally my parents’ new kitchen was spotless when he left. Best of all he’s patient, took the time to explain what he had done, why, and how the system works, has a great sense of humour, and is on time. Nialls Highly recommended.

Great service from start to finish! The engineer turned up on time, checked all my gas appliances, and gave my boiler a full service. He was really friendly and polite, explained what he was doing, and even gave me a few tips on keeping the boiler running smoothly. Got my gas safety certificate emailed before he left. Needed work on the gas pipes/ boiler and after getting a quote from an 0800 service we found Niall through a recommendation. After speaking over the phone he sorted this issue out in a single visit. UPDATE: I had since had Niall come out to examine a potential issue with a blocked pipe, and he immediately identified that the issue was absolutely nothing to do with the pipe but rather an unrelated issue with the fridge. Again he demonstrated utmost integrity and decency and refused to even charge the call out fee for doing so. I have additionally had him look at a couple other issues in the house (sink blockage and shower issue) and he dealt with both excellently. Highly recommended once again! I came to Niall regarding a boiler leak, he immediately identified the problem (a leaking pressure valve) from a video alone, which I'd misidentified as a rain leak. Even more impressively, and indicative of his high standards of professionalism and ethics, Niall suggested I get it serviced under warranty from the manufacturer direct, since it was still in warranty. He therefore earned no money from the episode, but will absolutely get all my future plumbing business on the basis of this kind of (sadly rare these days!) honesty and professionalism. Highly recommended!

They were not only be able to accommodate my urgent visit on Sunday to service my boiler but also provided a comprehensive overview & education to our heating and boiling system of recently bought house. They were extremely helpful and knowledgeable and be able to demonstrate a high level of professionalism and care of the customer. They were able to identify the cause of the problem with our underfloor heating and suggested a path forward for resolution. Niall is fantastic. We had a heating emergency on a Friday night. He walked through over the phone how to check the problem. He ordered a part overnight and came the next day to fix it and even help adjust and explain some things about our heating system. Fantastic service. Phoned Nialls plumbing and heating on Monday to see if a bathroom tap could be replaced, submitted a few pictures and got a quote within minutes, Niall's plumbing and heating came the following day. Couldn't be happier with the service will definitely use them again.

Fantastic plumber, highly recommended! Niall made the whole process very easy. I first explained the problem, Niall requested a few pictures of the hot water tank to help with the diagnosis and before he even came round had a good idea what could be the problem. Quoted me a very reasonable price if the problem turned out to be what he thought. Niall was prompt turning up and had problem fixed in 10 minutes, but then spent the next 15 minutes showing me how I can fix this problem if it happens again, checking all my radiators and my boiler. Will always use Niall from now on if I need a plumber.

Niall was recommended to us by friends when we had a problem with our heating and hot water system powered by an air source heat pump. He responded very quickly to our initial request and called the same day. He fixed the problem and explained how we might resolve a similar problem in future. Niall did a great job repairing a water mains leak under our concrete kitchen floor. He came the day we first contacted him, and overnight sent a detailed plan and estimate. He did the job the following day...dismantling kitchen units to access the floor which he excavated to trace the leak. We couldn't reach it without damaging floor tiles but had a "plan B" to make a floor level by-pass of the leaking section. Niall is great to work with and constantly checked that we were happy with what he was doing. Once complete, Niall did a very thorough reinstatement and clean-up. I would unreservedly recommend Niall's services.

Niall installed a new boiler and hot water tank and replaced a radiator. The reasons for the new boiler and water tank were carefully explained (with diagrams and photographs) and as a result the cost of the replacement tank was refunded by the previous maintenance contractor due to their poor practice. The options on the new radiator (steel v aluminium: single v double panel) and heat outputs were all reviewed before installation. The actual work was executed on time and budget and to Niall's normal high standards of neatness and cleanliness. Would not hesitate in recommending Niall's Plumbing and Heating.

Our boiler stopped working late on a Friday evening and so I searched for boiler repair 24/7 in my local area. I found Niall via the Google search results and submitted a form via his site. Niall responded first thing Saturday morning advising his was able to visit me that day and came round mid-day to do the work. Niall took the time to understand all parts of our system & then explain various bits to me to help me avoid overpaying for energy bills but more importantly, to help me avoid pushing my boiler and tank to its limits (I was heating everything too hot). Despite being a Saturday, Niall wasn’t rushed in any way and was extremely complimentary with his time, info provided and work conducted. Niall got my boiler back up and running and serviced it then advised I’d be far more likely to get the longer term work done cheaper if I went straight to Baxi - how many engineers do you know who would do that as opposed to quote for the parts that needed replacing and the labour to install? Bizarrely, my business partner has an amazing heating engineer he & his friends use but as my business partner was on holiday, I didn’t like to disturb him and therefore searched via Google as above. Anyway, it was about 45 minutes in that I put two and two together and realised that by chance, Niall is the chap my business partner and his friends use - small world and easy to see why Niall is held in such high esteem! Will be using Niall’s services for domestic and also our commercial building from hereon.
